Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Diffuse Thinking LLC ("we," "our," or "us") handles information when you use our mobile application Discipline Poker ("App").
The short version: we don't collect your data. There are no ads, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party trackers in the App. Your poker data stays on your device and in your personal iCloud account.
Data Storage and Privacy
We believe your data belongs to you. Discipline Poker is designed to keep your personal information completely private.
Your Poker Session Data
Discipline Poker is a completely client-side app. We do not operate any servers, and no data from the App is ever sent to us. Everything you enter (sessions, notes, preferences) is stored locally on your device and optionally synced to your personal iCloud account.
- Session Data: Poker session details (dates, locations, game types, stakes, results), bankroll information, self-review notes and scores, and custom review questions are stored only on your device and your personal iCloud account.
- Preferences: App settings, display preferences, and custom configurations remain on your device.
Information We Collect
Nothing. We collect zero data. We have no servers, no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no third-party code that phones home. The App does not make any network requests to us because there is nowhere to send them.
The only data that may leave your device goes to Apple — through iCloud sync (if you enable it) and through StoreKit (if you make the optional donation). Both are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, not ours.
Third-Party Services
The App contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking code. The only external services involved are provided by Apple:
- Apple iCloud (CloudKit): If you enable iCloud sync, your data syncs to your personal iCloud account. This is governed entirely by Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Apple StoreKit: If you choose to make the optional "Poker Gods' Blessing" donation, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple.
Data Storage and Security
All your data lives in two places, both controlled by you:
- On your device: Stored locally using Apple's SwiftData framework
- In your iCloud: If you have iCloud sync enabled, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit
We have no access to either. Your data is protected by Apple's security infrastructure and your Apple ID credentials.
Data Sharing
We do not share your data with anyone because we never have it in the first place. There are no servers, no databases, and no third-party partners receiving information from the App.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: View all your data within the App
- Export: Export your sessions and history to a JSON file
- Delete: Delete individual sessions or all data at any time
- Opt-out of iCloud: Disable iCloud sync if you prefer local-only storage
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
